Future Edge was established as a place for Fuji Xerox, in collaboration with its clients and partners, to endeavor to transform communications using digital printing technology and other channels. For “Smile Garden” on the second floor, we proposed a space offering a high degree of freedom where workshops and other activities can be conducted to experience and study new ideas and schemes. In “Smart Factory” on the first floor, seamless processing and delivery is tested to meet the needs discovered in “Smile Garden.” For this area, we aimed to create a space that is a foreboding of a future printing factory with an automated and integrated production process.
